monari is more than just a fashion label. monari is an attitude and, above all, a strong crew. monari is authentic and cannot be dictated to; instead, we develop and interpret ourselves anew: individually and independently. Issues such as digitalisation and sustainability are really important to us, and more topical than ever. Here we continue our path and shape the future of our label with innovative approaches. The entire team, including owner and chief designer Anne Bosch, sales manager Angela Bertrams-Cosse and commercial manager Christoph Börsting, has a clear goal: to create high-quality designs and unmistakable looks and to strengthen the monari brand for the long term.

STORY BEHIND
Inspired by a summer in Tuscany, monari was founded in 1986 by Renate and Bernhard Bosch and is now in its second generation of management. The vision: to convey this feeling of life in a fashion label and a high-quality knitted collection. In essence, monari has remained true to its origins, with the portfolio expanding steadily – towards a complete outfit.
STYLE
The collections of the monari label are smart, casual, glamorous, of high quality and always have that certain something. We create complete outfits – with our signature from the top to the trousers. This way, the collection has been thought through to the smallest component in terms of content and appearance, creating unmistakable looks. On top there are regular iconic eye-catchers. Garments that seem to break the mould, are bolder, or inspired directly from the world’s metropolises.Contradictions that go together. monari loves to surprise and evolve, but follows its own line consistently and thus creates an even balance between casual style, class and just that certain something.

Our core competencies include individual knitting processes, unusual printing techniques and the processing of high-quality yarns and materials. Together with our experienced, well-versed design team and internationally active technicians, and inspired by the impulses of the age and by the yarn fair “Pitti Immagine Filati” in Florence, we guarantee collections of the highest level in terms of style, quality and fit.

Sustainability is a multi-layered concept and implies strong action, conscious decisions and, last but not least, an inner attitude and social mindset. As a company, we see it as our duty to act sustainably, thereby assuming social responsibility and setting an example. We want to act sustainably in order to make our planet and our future a better place, and to treat it with respect. For us, sustainability is a continuous process - a long journey made up of many small steps. Our aim is to provide our customers, employees, suppliers and the following generations with an ecologically and socially sound yet economically viable range of products and services. Responsible production, the conservation of natural resources and acting with entrepreneurial care are key elements of our corporate strategy and are firmly anchored in our operational areas. In order to achieve this strategy and the associated goals, we work intensively on our processes, initiate innovations, reprioritise and take action.
RESPONSIBILITY
Our attitude also implies taking responsibility for others. For this reason, the Bernhard Bosch Foundation, founded in 1996, has set itself the task of improving the living conditions of disadvantaged children and young people in Africa, Romania and Germany. Our customers, friends and the entire team make an active contribution to this.
